Why did you choose to attend MDCC?

I chose to attend MDCC because I received a cheerleader scholarship and also because it was close to home. I am from Belzoni, Mississippi. I also chose MDCC because of the smaller class sizes and the one-on-one help from the teachers. Some of the best times I have ever had were at MDCC!! Go Trojans!!

Who was your favorite teacher during your time at MDCC and why?

Of course, my favorite teacher was my cheerleader coach, Skeetie Griffin. She loved us like we were her own. Dean Rice was also my favorite!!! :)

What is your best memory from your time at MDCC?

One of my favorite memories from MDCC was when I received a beauty in the beauty review. Of course, all of the football games where I cheered for the Trojans were also great memories!!

For you personally, what encapsulates the term "Trojan Spirit"?

To me, “Trojan Spirit” is being proud to tell people that you attended MDCC and that you enjoyed every minute!! From the football games to the classroom to dorm living, MDCC makes you feel at home and that is what is most important!!
