Why did you choose to attend MDCC?

I chose MDCC because of the close proximity to home. Small classes and affordable tuition. Also, I received a baseball scholarship to play for Coach Terry Thompson.

Who was your favorite teacher during your time at MDCC and why?

OMG. That is a dangerous question. I had so many great instructors but Dr. Snowden would win by small margin over Mrs. Grubb Psychology Instructor. Dr. Snowden showed that he really cared about me as a student. He was extremely approachable and made me feel like I belonged at MDCC. He was supportive of my endeavors on and off the field. I am truly appreciative for the example that he set as an instructor. I hope I made him proud.

What is your best memory from your time at MDCC?

My best memory was winning the State and Regional Championship my sophomore season. That was a great team with a great coach.

For you personally, what encapsulates the term "Trojan Spirit"?

Trojan Spirit encapsulates strong character, dignity, persistence and willingness to help those who can't help themselves. I was able to witness Trojan Spirit as a student and attempted to exemplify it when I was an employee.
