What degree did you receive and what was your major?

Associate of Arts in Social Science. I also received my State Law Enforcement Certification and State Criminal Investigation Certification from MDCC’s LETA.

What is your current occupation?

Law Enforcement

Why did you choose to attend MDCC?

I choose to further my education at MDCC because of the close proximity to home and affordable tuition. It prepared me for Alcorn.

Who was your favorite teacher during your time at MDCC and why?

Mrs. Valerie Morgan was my favorite teacher because she showed up ready to teach and no matter how bad her day was, she always had good things to say and presented herself with a smile. Students knew that she wanted to make sure we retain the information. Teaching and learning was always taking place.

What is your best memory from your time at MDCC?

My best memories are the fun times we shared at the dormitory and cafeteria.
